Racine County woman's body found under four feet of snow | Weather

The Racine County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a 52-year-old woman whose body was found Thursday covered with almost four feet of snow.

The woman's body was found on her property by a deputy who was probing the deep snow in the area.

Tuesday night, the woman's vehicle was stuck in a ditch on US 45 just north of Union Grove High School. Rescue personnel found a tow truck at the scene. The woman declined help from rescue personnel. She received a ride home from the tow truck operator after attempts to pull her vehicle were unsuccessful. The driver dropper her off at the end of her driveway and she was last seen walking toward her home.

Officials say the case remains under investigation, however, they do not suspect foul play at this time.
